Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
anew ("the app") does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything the app does happens entirely on your device.
Data Collection
anew does not collect any data. It has no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. Nothing you do in the app is ever sent anywhere.
What's Stored, And Where
All app data - your calendar marks, stickers, and settings - is stored locally on your device only, using Apple's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults and local files). None of it leaves your device, is backed up to any server we control, or is visible to us in any way.
Permissions The App Requests
Camera - used only if you choose to take a photo to turn into a sticker. The photo is processed entirely on your device to create the sticker image; it is never uploaded anywhere.
Photo Library - used only if you choose to pick an existing photo to turn into a sticker, via Apple's standard picker. The app never gains broader access to your photo library than the single image you select.
Location - used only to determine your local day boundary and sunrise/sunset times for the calendar. Your location is used on-device and is never transmitted or stored remotely.
You can decline any of these permissions; the app remains usable with reduced functionality (e.g. without location, sunrise/sunset defaults to your device's time zone).
Children's Privacy
Since the app collects no data of any kind from anyone, it does not knowingly collect data from children either.
